Work visa to Lithuania

Working abroad for Ukrainians is a good opportunity to improve their financial situation, save money and see the world. Visa application procedure and validity periods

For a work visa to Lithuania, the applicant must collect a package of documents for submission to the Visa Application Reception Point.
The package of documents for opening a visa includes:

  • A passport valid for at least 3 months after the planned return to the home country.
  • A printout of the completed online application form.
  • A work permit in Lithuania.
  • An invitation from the employer and a copy of the employment contract.
  • Health insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros.
  • A certificate of good health of the applicant.
  • A confirmation of the availability of funds in a bank account to cover accommodation and rent for the first period of stay in the country.
  • A 35 x 45 mm photo (taken no earlier than six months ago).

The embassy may also request other documents – diplomas of relevant education or qualification level, which will need to be translated into Lithuanian and certified.
