Temporary and permanent residence permits are documents on the basis of which a foreigner receives the opportunity to stay in a particular country legally, work officially, use medical care and enjoy social benefits. Having a residence permit allows you to move freely throughout all EU countries, including outside the Schengen zone, and cross the border with Ukraine an unlimited number of times.

The result of the application and the speed of registration of the residence permit will primarily depend on how meticulously you approach the preparation of the package of documents required for this.

List of documents required to obtain a residence permit

To apply for a residence permit, you must collect a package of documents, which include:

  • an application form of the established form, filled in the language of the country in which you expect to obtain a residence permit;
  • originals and copies of all pages of the international passport;
  • international insurance policy (if medical insurance was issued in Ukraine, it must be translated into the language of the country in which the applicant resides, and the translation must be officially certified);
  • 4 photos 3.5 * 4.5 cm, taken no later than six months before submitting the application;
  • bank statement or documents confirming the stable income of the applicant;
